Bernie Needs Love
You're Bernie and you're looking for love. Apparently it's waiting for you at the end of each level. But there's no love in those levels. At all.
This is a difficult platformer with the added insentive of death following you. This is kind of a play side scrollers because it amounts to the same thing; too slow and you die.
The levels I've played were mainly filled with birds that shit on you. Almost anything kills you and the constant side scrolling element of it makes it much harder than it ought to be.
The pixel art is very 80's, very "Leisure suit Larry", the original anyways. It kinda works for it too. Regardless, I had to rage quit in the end.
Note: I played this game while in Early Access. I had not noticed this until after the recording or I would not have bothered at all. Game could be improved by the time you see this. Could very well not be.
Verdict: (early access) This is a difficult platformer and they're not my cup of tea. The game looks nice in its own style but I feel it's a little repetitive. Of course I didn't play that long so I'm guessing there'll be more variety later on. Also, too many shitty birds.
