Dear diary, the game I played.today is called "TinyKeep".

#90

TinyKeep

You are a prisoner in some dungeon. Maggie, your friend, I think, got/found/stole some keys and is on her way out. You should do well to find her! Oh and to escape.

Explore the dungeons, kill the mobs, collect the loot, progress your character. It ain't rocket science. The dungeons are apparently randomly generated and they look pretty cool.

There's a rogue like-ish element to it, in that you can throw money at a well for which you get certain passive abilities. I'm not sure about other upgrades. Not in my playthrough anyways.

Fighting is in a very loose format. You can even use environmental hazards to kill mobs, which I like. There's even an achievement for finishing the entire game that way, mkay.

There are a few things that could be more obvious. Stones popping out of walls seem to have no purpose. What's up with those prisoners. Or that green cauldron. I hope that gets clarified later on.

Verdict: I really enjoyed playing this game. Even though randomly generated, there seems to be a story line. Looks good, plays casual, random upgrades. I've seen complaints about it being simple but I did not hit that in my hour of playing so far.

Familiarity: Not played before
