Hero Siege
I'm not sure about the story line. There may not be a real story line, which fits the rogue-like hack'n'slash kind of genre.
You basically fight waves of monsters in a nice pixel art environment. Random mobs spawn and the levels have random hazards. The kicker is that the hazards hurt the mobs too.
The mobs seem quite difficult at first, especially dungeons, but I expect that to become a bit easier as you level and gear up.
The "overworld" is a bit confusing as you seem to only get there after dying, at which point you won't have any money to buy stuff from npcs. Or maybe just not in my playthrough.
Verdict: It's a good looking game with high replayability that gets me hooked quickly. I'll definitely play some more of this off-screen.
