Skullgirls
Classic fighting game on par for the genre. Plenty of characters to pick from, great graphics.
The game sports a training mode as well as an extended tutorial. You can play in a single player mode with lots of story line, though of course the story doesn't affect tha game at all.
There's also an arcade mode and multi-player mode. There seems to be a distinction between super-powerful, somewhat-powerful, and regular powerful characters. I can't tell right now what the actual difference is.
In the play through a lot of stuff happened without really knowing what the hell was going on. That's kind of unfortunate. I suppose the tutorial explains most of it, but I guess some more clues would be welcome.
Verdict: Long time since I played a fighting game. This is everything I remember from them though. Game seems well implemented, lots of characters, many buttons to mash.
Familiarity: Not played before
