You control a base on earth watching for extraterrestrial activity. You have to act immediately when you find any, hunt them down, and use the spoils for research and improvement.
This squad based strategy game also offers a lot of management gameplay outside of combat. There's a top-down flying fight mode and there's a lot of inventory-ish management.
The actual squad based gameplay was not exactly what I expected from it but I may have set the standards too high, thinking of Jagged Alliance 2. Regardless, I spent an hour playing the intro so rest assured that I had fun playing this game.
Verdict: I love squad based games. This did not show me anything new in the gameplay I've recorded but it was fun to play it regardless. I may have expected more from it myself though.
