Heroes of Loot
You're a group of dungeoneers, set out to explore some dungeons and get loot. Because looooot!
This is a pretty though simplistic dungeon crawler. The simplistic part lies in the fact that it only has one action button. Your choices also seem kind of limited.
Yet, the graphics are pretty and gameplay is attracting enough to just keep playing. There's also an upgrading meta game going on, where your dungeon gets more harder as you play and ... well something else I noticed right at the end of the video and therefor have not yet seen. So yeah, it seems there's more to this game.
At the same time, the single button element seems to be sticking. So choices are limited. Shops often contain a bunch of crap. Quests concern themselves with collecting or killing a bunch of this or that thing. And beyond that, it's just about reaching the end.
Regardless, this video lasted for an hour, partially because I had to start over at the 25 minute mark, but still I kept going for an hour. So that's gotta count for something.
Verdict: Gameplay may be simplistic but it works well and the pixel graphics are very attractive. There's unlock meta going on though this playthrough is too short to explore that properly. Maybe next time.
