Sky Mercenaries
You are... well there's no real introduction. It's a shoot'em'up and you just crunch through levels.
Basically you can pick between three characters, though I only played one. There's a bunch of upgrades for your ships and you can pick between what seems to be drone upgrades and ship upgrades.
The main problem this game has for me is lack of information. You have no clue what the hell is going on. Pickups do seemingly random stuff and even once you kind of figure out what they do, you lack control over them.
Screen estate is scarsely used. The least they could do is display the powerup states or health or whatever more obvious.
The game handles nicely otherwise and I was relatively okay with manouvring my way through bullet hell. On easy though. But still.
Verdict: Look it's a nice game but it's lacking certain basic elements like information and ingame control. Upgrades are nice, graphics are good, so I kind of liked it nonetheless but I was hoping for more.
